
Simple Satay Sauce
Whip up a flavorful and healthy satay sauce in minutes! This recipe uses almond butter as a creamy base, along with tamari for a savory punch, and brightens it up with lemon juice. This gluten-free sauce is perfect for Buddha bowls, wraps, or even as a marinade.
Ingredients
- ¼ cup almond butter (organic)
- 2 tbsp coconut aminos
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp water (add more water if desired)
- 1 cm ginger (grated)
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
- ⅕ tsp chilli flakes
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a small bowl and stir to mix well. Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Store in a covered glass container in the fridge until ready to serve.
Notes
- The sauce will keep in a closed container in the fridge for up to a week.
- It is best to enjoy nut butters only occasionally.
