
Choc Nut Butter Pudding
This choc nut butter pudding is a delicious and nutritious dessert that combines the creamy texture of Greek yogurt with the nutty flavor of almond butter. This recipe also includes chia seeds and flax for added fiber and protein and omega-3 fatty acids.
Ingredients
- 120 g Greek yoghurt
- 20 g almond butter
- ¼ tsp vanilla bean paste
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
Top Layer
- 340 ml almond milk (unsweetened)
- 25 g cocoa powder
- 25 g flax meal
- 1 serve protein powder
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
Instructions
- Place the yoghurt, vanilla extract and nut butter in a bowl. Stir well.
- Spoon into 2 serving bowls or dessert glasses.
- Place the top layer ingredients in a blender and blend well until smooth.
- Stir in the chia seeds and leave to stand for 10 minutes.
- Stir again then pour over the bottom layer.
- Serve and enjoy!
- Cover any leftovers and refrigerate for up to 2 days.
Notes
It’s best to enjoy nut butters, cocoa powder and maple syrup occasionally.
